Hi guys, here I would like to express you, my way of making kites. I think most of us know what kite is. It is a thing which flies in air. Kites are mostly liked by children.
We can make a kite with any material, since kites are made with any light-weighted material. We can get those materials, but the question you all will be having is,
"how to make it?"
Let's look into this issue and solve it here.
First, let's look at the required materials.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
1.Plastic:
- Plastic is a common material used for making kites in most parts of the world.
- Plastic is used because of its light weight and flying nature.
- Plastic is preferred but it pollutes the environment. So I suggest you to use paper or any other material with this light weight and glidable nature.
- Plastic is available in most of the shops in the world.
- Plastic is very cheap and easily affordable by many people.
2.Paper:
- Paper is a common material derived from trees.
- Paper is also a common useful material, since it is useful in many ways.
- Paper is light weight and glides fast in air.
- I suggest you all to use paper.
- Paper is available in most of the stationery shops.
3.Sticks:
- Sticks are parts of trees.
- Sticks are obtained from trees. We can get those sticks from any tree which has tension in it.
- Sticks give the kite, a rigid shape and structure.
- Sticks should be long, straight, strong and even.
- I recommend you to use bamboo sticks. Since they are strong, long and rigid.
4.Tapes and glue:
- Tapes(or glue) are used to fix the sticks to the paper or plastic(depends upon material).
- They are used to fix the sticks which give the kite the ability to move up.
- So they are to be used effectively.
- Tapes and glues are commonly used, but you can use any adhering material.
- They are available in stationery shops.
5.Thread(strings):
- Thread is the the thing which helps us to control the kite in air.
- Thread helps us to deal with the kite which flies high in air and control it.
- It is used by the person to be in contact with the kite.
- Normal threads can be used but the issue with normal threads is that they cut off often.
- So I recommend to use threads which are strong enough to be capable of bearing the tension due to air.
- So the threads that could be used is of strong nature like manja etc.
PROCEDURE:
- First let's make the kite's body.
- Let's make the kite in any shape. But square shape is preferable.
- So first get a square paper as provided in the video.
- Then put sticks as shown in the video(one in the diagonal and one curved across).
- Tape or glue them so that they won't come out when forced through air.
- Then put two small holes on both sides along the diagonal with a wrist space between them.
- Then put thread into them and tie accordingly.
- Now your kite is ready and you can fly it as you want.
